Khan Academy

Khan Academy is an approved and supported resource for Noblesville Schools. Teachers and students should utilize Clever to access their account after it is established. Use the following steps to create a student Khan Academy account. See bottom of article for Khan Academy Kids.

1. Teacher adds students to Khan Academy Roster and provides the Class Code to the student.

2. Student selects "Sign Up". Khan Academy will ask for Class Code and Student's Date of Birth (for Privacy).

3. For the student then to use Clever Single Sign ON, teacher first needs to login through Clever. Screen should look something like this.

4. Student can then login through Clever. Under 13 students will receive the below screen for parental permission.

5. After students login, they will be asked their grade level and subject areas.

7. From this point forward, TEACHER AND STUDENT SHOULD LOGIN THROUGH CLEVER.


***Khan Academy Kids - We found that it is best practice for teachers to manually create new accounts with a different email address. If teachers created an account, syncing their kids via Clever, it had the students jump through several extra hoops versus when it's manually set up through the app directly on the iPad.
