On Your Old iPad:
Backup Your Data
Data from Cloud Based Apps won’t need backed up. Apps such as:

Evernote

Google Drive
-
Dropbox
Data from Apps that store data locally to the ipad will need backed up:

Pages
-
Keynote
-
Notability
Erase Your iPad
Once all of your necessary data has been moved to your new iPad please erase your old iPad.
“Settings” > “General” > “Reset” > “Erase All Content and Settings”
On Your New iPad:
Some things you may want to do for setup on iPad Air…

Connect the Wi-Fi to NSC_Corp.

Put in your firstname_lastname and password when prompted.

Turn on iCloud

Be sure to turn on Find my iPad

You may want to turn on Docs and Data if you want to automatically backup apps such as Pages and Keynote

Setup Your Mail

Turn on a Passcode

Install your free apps.

The first time you sign into the app store you will be prompted to download a bunch of free apps - Pages, Numbers, Keynote. Please go ahead and do this. It will associate all of these apps with your Apple ID.

Download your previously purchased apps from the App Store

Go to the App Store on your iPad

Click on Purchased and choose “Not on This iPad”
