How to Request Apps for Student and Staff iPads



Free and Paid Apps for Student iPad(s):

 1. Request here with a HelpDesk Ticket - Be sure to select "iOS Device/Software Installation Request" as "Class" and complete all necessary information (see below screenshot). For iTunes URL, open http://volume.itunes.apple.com/?l=en find the app you are requesting and then copy and paste the url to your specific app.


2. NS ECA Tech Support will download application to student(s) iPad if approved

3. An email will be sent responding to your ticket letting you know when your application is available to download from the App Portal.

4. Choose the App Portal on the Student iPad(s) to download the requested application.



**Free Apps for Staff iPad(s) - Can be downloaded using your personal Apple ID.


To obtain an Apple ID for your staff iPads, go to http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2534 You will need to "purchase" a free app first and then you will be presented with the option to select "none" when it comes to choosing a credit card.

Paid Apps for Staff iPad(s) - You can purchase your own apps using your personal Apple ID or you can make a request for the app to be purchased by ESC Technology.

 1. Request here with a HelpDesk Ticket - Ensure to select "iOS Device/Software Installation Request" as "Class" and complete all necessary information (see below screenshot).

2. NS ECA Tech Support will download the application to the App Portal on your iPad if approved.

3. An email will be sent responding to your ticket when the application is available to download from the App Portal.

4. Choose the App Portal on the iPad to download requested application.
