iPad - How to Lock iPad on an Application(s)

Available on IPAD 2 or higher (if unsure which type of iPad...all iPad 2 and higher will have a camera):

Go to Settings - General - Accessibility Settings - Guided access - Turn On (you can add passcode).  Open the first application you want to lock.  Triple Click on Home Button (if it doesn’t work, restart iPad) to get started.  You can now set what is needed.  Several settings can be locked, on/off such as motion, touching part of the screen.  To turn off, triple click and it will prompt for passcode (if no passcode, you can triple click for auto-off).

More than one application can be locked, however, you will have to open each app to set the Guided Access.
