TA - Creating a New Repair

1. Open “TechInventoryRepair” database.

2. Select the “Assets” table

3. Navigate to the record you need to create repair for and the click on the “Create” icon
on the right of record under Device Repair.

4. You will be asked to confirm the repair request.

5. Once confirmed you will be taken to the repair form where you will need to enter a
HelpDesk ticket number (if there is one) and details about the issue. When you are
finished click the “Done” button.

6. You can check Status or History of repairs for the Asset by clicking the “Status” or
“Repair History” icons on the right side under Device Repair.


7. When repair is “Closed” you will receive an email notification with info about repair.
